Do families from all divisions attend the auction?

Yes! Lower, Middle and Upper School families come together for a fun evening celebrating and raising money for Sanford. Alumni and alumni parents often join us too! Feel free to invite friends, neighbors, and family - all are welcome!

What is a VIP ticket?

Single VIP ticket includes a prime table location for all the action during the live auction and on the dance floor AND waited bar service at your table. 

What am I expected to purchase that night?

Whatever you would like! Some guests purchase several items from the Silent and Live auctions as well as 50/50 raffle tickets. Other guests simply come and enjoy the party. 

How can I be involved?

We would love to have you involved!

Volunteer: Reach out to our Auction Chairs to help plan the event!

Donate Items: We are looking for unique and fun items and experiences for our Silent and Live auctions. 

Advertise in the Program: Promote your business by buying an ad in the auction program! Guaranteed to be seen by hundreds of local Sanford supporters!

Purchase a Sponsorship: Help us underwrite the cost of hosting the event. 

ATTEND! We hope to see everyone there on Friday, April 17!

What should I wear?

While there is no dress code, guests are invited to dress in the clothes of their favorite decade or wear their favorite band t-shirt. Or come in your best “evening out” attire (anything from suits to jeans!). Our hope is that you are comfortable and have a great time.

I don’t have anyone to sit with - what should I do?

No problem! You have a few options: contact your Home & School Grade Rep to connect with other families in your child’s grade who will be attending that night OR we will do our best to seat you with other families in your child's grade or extracurricular activity.

How does bidding work?

The Silent Auction bidding is done online from your mobile device. You will receive a text message letting you know bidding has begun! More information to come just before the event. The Live Auction bidding is done from your table the night of the event. You will receive a paddle with your bidder number and have the opportunity to raise your paddle during the Live Auction to place your bid.
