4th Grade Teachers Archaeological Dig Party

Do you dig ancient history? After a brief introduction into the fascinating ancient cultures of the Aztec, Incan, and Mayan empires, 4 to 8 students, along with the 4th Grade teachers, will engage in creating an "artifact" that could have been left behind by one of these civilizations. This artifact will then be subjected to the effects of time and weather, and will need to be reconstructed in order to determine its culture of origin. Young archaeologists will sift through remains to uncover shards and will restore each artifact to its original state. Sparkling cider and goodies to follow the successful excavation!
